Gera Sandler is an actor, stage director, writer, composer, voice talent, and a TV personality.
Born in the Soviet Union and raised in Israel, Gera graduated from the School of Performing Arts Beit Zvi. He performed Don Juan by Moliere and The Last Devil by Isaac Bashevis Singer with Gesher Theater.

He has been the leading actor of Yiddishpiel Theatre in Israel for over 15 years. His roles include: Nathan Rothschild in American The Rothschilds: A Musical, Herschel in A Simple Story by Agnon, and magician Yasha in The Magician of Lublin by Isaac Bashevis Singer.
In the USA, he's performed in Covers, Knock, and Old New Year by the Lost & Found Project. He is also one of the leading actors of New Yiddish Rep Theatre.

As a stage director, Sandler has worked on operas and original (Old New Year), classical (The Labor of Life and The Whore From Ohio by Hanoch Levin), and dramatic plays. He's created children's shows with On Cue and Folksbiene theatres in NYC. Gera directed and acted in 2 sold out Off-Broadway runs and a national tour of The Singing Windmills, a play about Solomon Mikhoels.

He's acted in more than 15 Israeli TV series, including the male lead in 5 seasons of a sitcom The Eighties. Gera's been in American productions like Who Will Write Our History by Roberta Grossman, Minyan by Eric Steel, Holy Woman by Emily Cheeger, and Netflix series Unorthodox and Transatlantic.

As an accomplished Russian/Hebrew voice-over talent, Gera Sandler is known for his portrayal of Bloo in the Russian version of the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends series on Cartoon Network and Count Dracula in the Hebrew version of Adam Sandler's Sony Pictures animated film Hotel Transylvania.
